Ben Buckland - Networks General Manager
                                      
Raised on the Buckland family farm in northwest Oklahoma, Ben Buckland began his broadcast career in Dallas, Texas at the ripe old age of 15. He has worked in virtually every area of broadcast radio and some TV in a career spent primarily in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Today Ben heads the Clear Channel Networks, maintains the family farm located between Waynoka and Alva in Woods County and spends his spare time as an award winning sports announcer and auctioneer. Ben also supports and works in behalf of several charities, including helping MC the annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon each year.


Mike Dain - Farm Director

It can truly be said that Mike Dain has farming in his blood. Raised on a crop, livestock and dairy farm, this Kansas native has worked hard to become one of the preeminent farm broadcasters in the nation. A broadcaster for three decades, over 20 of them at farm news networks, Mike brings his agricultural perspective to his daily reports. Mike has been a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters since 1983. Mike has received many local, regional and statewide honors, including awards from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau, Oklahoma Wheat Commission, and Oklahoma Farmers Union.


Travis Beams - Associate Farm Director

Travis Beams’ network career includes that of Sales Manager for the Radio Oklahoma Network and Farm Reporter / Anchor for QuinStar Radio Networks. Travis Beams is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he majored in Agriculture Communications. He is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and has direct ties to Oklahoma's agriculture industry both as a journalist and producer.




Patti Garrett - Assoiate Farm Director

Patti Garrett has been in the radio industry for some 15 years. For the past three years, Patti has worked for the Clear Channel family of Ag Networks. She anchors various reports on all of our Agrinet products. Patti has also been at Clear Channel's KXXY -FM for 12 years, filling various duties including traffic reporter, news director and morning show sidekick.







Don Atkinson- Senior News Editor

While a student at Texas A&M University, Don  had nearly 10 years of broadcasting experience under his belt when the on-campus office of the Extension Service hired him. Working in the radio-television department, Don helped to write and produce a weekly agricultural radio show for two years.

In 1992, Roddy Peeples gave him a job at the VSA Radio Network. Starting as the Market Director, Don worked his way up to host of the Midday Farm and Ranch Report in 1995 and eventually become the Network Anchor in 2001. In 2006, he was promoted to Ag News Editor for the Clear Channel Farm News Networks.

A voting member of NAFB since 1992, Don served as South Region Vice-President from 2000-2002.

He was named South Region Farm Broadcaster in’03






Robbie Hoy- Ag Reporter

Rob is the newest of the Agrinet Family.  He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with a degree in broadcasting.

He’s been working for the network since April of 2007, gathering news and interviews.

He also edits audio for other members of the Farm Team to use on air and he fills in on reports when someone is out sick, on vacation etc.

Rob also works for NewsRadio 1000 KTOK and the Oklahoma News Network as an evening reporter and anchor








Greg Merick - Operations Manager
Greg was raised on a farm in the small town of Seiling Oklahoma . He took over as the operations manager in June of 2007. Greg has been with Clear Channel for five years serving as a producer for many nationally syndicated and local talk shows, as well as college and professional sporting events. Greg provides the morning and afternoon sport’s reports for the Oklahoma news network. He has been a play –by- play man for numerous high school FB/BB teams and is the voice of the Oklahoma City Stars men’s and women’s basketball team’s.
